Dance With The Devil Tonight [Open]

Standing just outside of the circle made in the center of the town square, Maria swayed unconsciously to the steady beat of the music. Her red eyes were focused on the people already moving together in sync, blinking slowly. While she didn’t understand most human (though most of these people couldn’t really count as human), the Prussian could see how important simple dancing was.

She had been around long enough to see how many types of dancing and celebration there were in this world, and it had always fascinated her. Maria had dabbled in dancing when she had been wandering the human world all those years ago, but she had long forgotten most of it. Proper ‘etiquette’ confused her.

The fallen angel tilted her head as the tempo sped up, and feeling energy course through her, a cat-like grin lit her face up. Maria leapt forward to join the crowd of people, her body flowing through movements smoothly, with her costume flaring red in the light. She felt alive, and the night was still young. She wasn’t going to stop now.

Gilbert adjusted the cat ears on his head. Hurr hurr, it must've given some of the townspeople a kick to see him walking around as a 'sexy waiter kitty'. Ohhh yes, he could hear the snickers and the 'nice ass' comments from his spot hanging around the circle, watching the more adventurous townfolk dancing.

Granted, he wanted to dance himself -- but with this ...revealing outfit on? You had a better chance at him going sober for a whole day. Really, they had to take his boxers too? He hated loosing bets. He should've put his money on the Bulgarians loosing -- fucking Irish Qudditch players just HAD to loose. And not only did he have to pony up almost half of his salary, but he also had to wear this ridiculous thing. Buuut then again, there was Maria.

Maybe, just maybe, she could magic him up some pants? hesitantly, he strolled over to to her, even dancing as he did so because hey, if he was going to look like an idiot and a partially nude one at that, he might as well take some form on enjoyment from it. Grabbing her hand and twirling her around, his other hand landing on her waist, eh winked and smiled. "Why good evening, pretty devil lady."

She had gotten lost in the increasing beat of the music, the notes spurring her on to dance endlessly among this mass of people. Maria’s head had been thrown back to face the night sky filled with stars, silver hair flowing behind her freely as she moved. She was caught off guard as she was suddenly twirled around, feeling a hand on her hip.

Finding herself looking up (why did he have to be taller than her? It wasn’t fair) at the man who could have been her twin, if their ages had been closer, a mischievous grin came instantly onto Maria’s lips. “Gilbert,” she greeted him, a cheeky tone in her voice – one that turned almost mocking as she caught sight of his outfit. Was that supposed to be a costume? “I see we had a good evening, ja? What’s that for~?”

The Prussian had to hold back the laughter bubbling up in her throat, knowing that it must have been a lost cause. Gilbert would never wear something like that willingly; that was one thing that she understood completely about him – though the man confused her half the time. “You’re not drunk already, are you?” Maria smirked, an amused light in her eyes. “I’d say that you look good half-nude, kesesese~ But what do I know? Has Ivan seen you yet~?” She couldn’t resist poking just a little fun at him.

Maria gently pressed her body against his, her hand trailing up his arm to casually rest on his shoulder as she fitted in properly for a dance. “Shall we dance~?”
